Ali made her mark in the world of television as well. A Man Called Hawk and Wally and the Valentines were among her TV characters. Ali's biggest breakthrough was when she brought Ashley Banks to life on the hit TV show, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air in 1990. It was a huge hit and featured Will Smith and Ali as its lead actors. The show was an enormous hit and ranked 12th on NBC's list of shows that were watched the most between 1990-1992. Additionally, the show would go on to earn two famous Golden Globe nominations.
