American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her career began as an supporting character in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played reporter Willa McPherson in the FX series Dirt as well as a supporting part in the short-lived show The Ex List. She was a part of the young Moira O'Hara on the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and as Kaylee in the third season. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She has voiced various characters in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. Since 2019, she has appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe, a character on the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge resided in Darien, Connecticut, until the age of 10 when her mother and she moved to California. They were able to move around for a year before eventually settling in Mill Valley.
